NOISIA - Could This Be

For all the Drum & Bass fans out there, this is big news. The dutch trio Noisia teases us with Could This Be, that will hit the Beatport store 21st of November. Deadmau5 label Mau5trap is again behind the release and of course, as we know, it's always good with a Mau5 behind it.

This track is no exception!

Sway - Still Speeding (Kill The Noise Remix)

Dubstep genious Kill The Noise have really proved he can remix any genre to his own trademark sound. The last three months must have been hectic for the L.A. producer . He have released some really epic remixes of already good original songs. One of his tracks, and the first one I heard was Robyn - Be Mine featuring Rye Rye. I didn't even hesitate once to include it in one of my own monthly DJ mixes when it came out. After that, he released remixes of known bands and artists such as Five Finger Death Punch, Korn & Skrillex. He also did a great job on the tracks by the "newcomer DJs": Porter Robinson & KOAN. And just a few hours ago we could once more enjoy a new remix by the young producer.

This time it is the UK rap artist and producer Sway DaSafo's track Still Speeding that is being remixed. Once again Kill The Noise performs his trademark dubstep style that I like. I have to say the drop reminds me of the Be Mine drop, but not too much though. Now just listen and enjoy.

Introducing: BRUK

Today I have decided to bring another element to my new electro blog. The idea is to introduce different hand picked artists for you every once in a little while. The artist that I am introducing to you should be one that I really appreciate for his/her/their work.

First honourable artist to be introduced for you is a DJ-duo with the name BRUK. The duo consist of two highly appreciated DJs on the Electro House scene, Rocket Pimp (Mike Stonebank) & Chrizz Luvly. The later maybe the most known of the two. The name of the band is actually a mix of two country abbreviations BR (as in Brazil) & UK (of course United Kingdom). And why these great countries, you ask? Well it's easy isn't it. Chrizz Luvly is Brazilian and Rocket Pimp is English.

Hold Back is the first song I heard from BRUK and it caught me immediately. The vocals from Static is great and it's a real great club banger with a little wobble every once in a while! The release of this song was about a year ago.

BRUK FT STATIC - HOLD BACK (ORIGINAL MIX) by BRUK

As you noticed this was only a short preview but here's a link to Youtube for a full preview, and a link to Beatport where you can purchase it, together with more of their releases!

BRUK masters the art of balancing on the edge of mainstream & dirty Electro House, something that I think shows in the following track i'm gonna include. This is Keep Running together with Marie L who appears on several BRUK & Rocket Pimp tracks.

BRUK FT MARIE L - KEEP RUNNING (ORIGINAL MIX) by BRUK

Another great track that is among the best is Shine On. This is having a little more dirty sounds than the others. We also hear vocals from Marie L, which suits very well with this type of music.

I also like to present to you both halfs of the duo by including one each of their own tracks.

First, listen to Rocket Pimp:

ROCKET PIMP NI MASSIVE BANK DEMO by RocketPimp/MikeModulate

Then, listen to Chrizz Luvly:

Now we can only hope we will see more from these guys. Would be real fun if they could release something under BRUK soon, wouldn't it?

Remember to come back to ElectroCloud for more Introductions!

New Swedish House Mafia Track

I guess I don't need to tell you so much about the Swedish House Mafia. The group of Swedish super DJ's Axwell, Steve Angelo & Sebastian Ingrosso have been releasing hit song after hit song this year. Together with names such as Laidback Luke, Pharell Williams & Tinie Tempah they have hit mainstream success all around the world.

Just a few days ago a new hit song was leaked to the wonderful internet. The track features Taio Cruz vocals and WILL eventually become big. I haven't been able to find any other info about the track. Not even Swedish House Mafia have posted anything about official release dates. However, the track have been uploaded to Youtube by some hero, and nobody deleted it yet.

New Album by Umek & Beltek

The Top 100 DJ Umek  along with his fellow Slovenian countryman Beltek already blessed us with the wonderful track: Army Of Two. That was now 3 years ago (roughly counted). Since then, the duo have co-operated on several tracks, and now they release Out of Play. It's a ten track full length album.

I won't disturb you with any quality analyze now. Right now I'm not even able to listen to the material myself (because school computers don't seem to like music at all). However, I can almost guarantee that this album is good without even having to listen to it. You can look from the bright side... You will be able to listen to this before me. I am SO jealous!

The official digital release is today 7th november
On iTunes you can download it 20th november.

Visit Umek or Beltek's homepages for more info!

The track Army Of Two that I was talking about earlier is worth a listen too!

New Modestep Release

I know that To The Stars has been around already for a while. Today however is the official release date and you will be able to buy the new track on iTunes. It already made it onto the BBC Radio 1 A-list.

Modestep really made a name for themselves after the release of the smash hit Sunlight. Their music video was seen by 1 million people after just 4 days on Youtube. That says something about their mainstream success. What really makes Modestep stand out from the rest of the Dubstep acts of today is the mainstream friendly vocals by Josh Friend.

To The Stars isn't much different from Sunlight. It starts quite calm and evolves into a big drop followed by some interesting dubstep. However we don't have any change of tempo in this track like we had in Sunlight, where the tempo suddenly changed into some kind of drumstep like final. Instead, in the ending of To The Stars we can enjoy an interesting Heavy Metalish guitar solo. I haven't seen these guys live, but I guess this song is a candidate for the "WE WANT MORE" part of the live performance.

The new song was of course remixed by a lot of different DJ's around the world. This one by Document One maybe recieved the most of the attention.

Duck Sauce – Big Bad Wolf (Dada Life Remix)

Just a few days ago the swedish Electro House duo Dada Life teased us with a 25 second preview of their new remix on Duck Sauce-hit Big Bad Wolf. My reaction to the track then was about "Wow, this is gonna be big".

Duck Sauce – Big Bad Wolf (Dada Life Remix) (Preview):

Yesterday we could see the track being spread to random places on the internet. And well, the final result is pure quality (
as usual when Dada do something). In the preview we already learned that the drop was going to be a big one (and of course that seems to be the most important in electro music). What really impressed me a little extra this time was the mystical, but yet peaceful part before the drop. It really worked well. It's a shame though that they didn't release the remix in time for the Halloween weekend. You'll understand when you hear it!

New Music Released by King Kornelius

I think I have made this blog into an addiction. Music is something I live for. And I am really not so surprised that I'm making my 4th post just in 2 days.

King Kornelius is to me still a rather unknown Electro House DJ and producer. I've only heard Milk & Cookies that he produced with the American Alex Kidd and The Bully with JELO

What I found out about him is that he is Canadian and makes really good music. On his Facebook page I also found out that his name is actually Neil Hatherall AND he is a normal man (so a bit of a disappointment there for all you people who really thought he was a king)!

Anyway, I think you should check out his latest hit Off with his Head which was officially released on Beatport only 2 days ago, and labled Exclusive!

If you like this, BUY IT. But until then, I embedded this Youtube video for you all to enjoy!

If you can't get enough of King Kornelius after listening to this! Please visit his SoundCloud profile, where you will find more tracks, remixes and bootlegs. For example this remix!
